Together we succeeded in managing past and new challenges, always trying and testing innovative approaches and partnerships to make EURADA and its members stronger in the European and International scenario.
2025 will represent a year of opportunities to exploit these outcomes together with the renewed Governing Bodies - Assembly, Board of Directors and Presidency – and with the new Director Francesco Molica.
EURADA Secretariat will accompany the implementation of the new year activities thanks to an amazing team, that has been able to grow and further enrich its skills and knowledge. Particularly on the changing dynamics of the European Union and its Regions represented by our members.
Our mutual engagement enabled all of us to reach our objectives and respect the planned activities as well as to gain more assignments and projects consistently with our vision and strategy as stated in our new Statutes.
The collaboration with European institutions has been constant, intense and precious, always providing hints and inspiration for a renewed way of interpretating the role of development agencies for a harmonious and sustainable development in our cities and regions.
Our international partners have been another fundamental piece of the mosaic depicted during 2024, contributing to EURADA open and diversified vision of development agencies’ role.
The new year has already revealed the challenges ahead, which we will be able to face, continuing to cooperate and to observe reality moved by the desire to learn and by the curiosity to discover and search for new solutions together.
The renewed European Institutions, the Multiannual Financial Framework, the revision of cohesion and innovation policies and of competitiveness measures coupled with the changes in the international geopolitical scenario will request a further effort to enhance EURADA and its stakeholder’s potential to be vigilant united and proactive.
This message is not an “adieu” but rather an “arrivederci“ since I will continue to be on EURADA side, not forgetting to enjoy this new period of my life.
