Read the Scoping paper for AGORADA

Written by EURADA

AGORADA is our main event, that has been held yearly since our beginnings in 1992. This year’s edition will be dedicated to discussing Regional Development toward 2050. To anticipate the event and provide a background on the topics, our founder and former CEO Christian Saublens has developed the scoping paper for the event.

As with many past editions of AGORADA, our founder and former CEO, Christian Saublens, has developed the scoping paper that provides an overall background on how Regional Development must evolve to face the future successfully.

In the document, Christian aims to decompose regional strategies to their core to analyse their characteristics, as well as the flaws he finds behind the current approaches to regional development. He showcases the strengths and weaknesses of such practices and gives his insight into how regional development practitioners should improve RDAs to be able to withstand the challenges that the future may bring for our field. He concludes with a few questions that will serve as food for thought and raise curiosity about the topics discussed at this year’s event.

We encourage you to read the full scoping paper to get further information and to prepare for the 30th edition of AGORADA
