ProACCIÓ Green, innovation for a green and circular economy

Our member ACCIÓ, the Regional Development Agency of Catalonia, has launched the ProACCIÓ Green Programme with the purpose of supporting the region companies during the transition towards sustainable business models using technology and innovation as a driving force.

The ProACCIO Green Programme encompasses ACCIÓ services, grants and activities to make sustainability one of the strategic axes of the companies through responsible innovation and using technology as a lever for a green and circular economy. They offer support and resources with the aim of directing the development of the strategies that form the entrepreneurial ecosystem of Catalonia.

In the actual context, sustainability is the path of all those companies that want to be transcendent, generate a positive impact and satisfy the demands of their partners and clients. The Sustainable Development Goals, the European Green Deal and global awareness all point in the same direction: tackling social and environmental challenges to combat the climate emergency with new technological solutions and committed attitudes.

Taking in account that climate neutrality represents the greatest business opportunity of the next decade to make a green and circular economy a reality.  With ProACCIO Green Programme, the Agengy of Catalonia will help the companies of the region to make sustainability one of the growth engines to multiply its impact. The programme bases its development on the use and exploitation of innovation and new technologies as resources to accelerate the fight against climate change, generate new economic activities and create new jobs.

From EURADA, we believe ACCIO programme will have successful results and a direct impact in the sustainable development of the economy of the region.  We want to showcase another case of the proactivity role of RDAs to boost and guide the region’s ecosystem.
