Under the name Navigating the Future of Regional Development: Driving the change and enabling green and digital transitions for sustainable regional development, EURADA and OECD are organising the second edition of the Winter School scheduled from 26 to 29 February 2024. This year’s edition is co-organised by the proud EURADA members, Oost NL and ROM Utrecht and will take place in Utrecht, The Netherlands.
The focus of the 2024 Winter School will be on the role of regions and regional development agencies in addressing socio-economic challenges and megatrends. This will be done by concentrating on foresight and interaction.
The Winter School will feature speakers from diverse organisations involved in regional development, exploring topics such as Strategic Autonomy, the Green Deal, and the Digital Transition.
During this 3-day event, the participant will also have the opportunity to join some study visits in the regions as well as have the opportunity to foster future collaboration through a pitching session.
There is a participation fee for the Winter School. The organisers will cover transport, lunches, and dinner during the Winter School, whereas travel to Utrecht and accommodation costs will be borne by the participants.

Candidates need to submit a duly compiled application via this form online by 21 January 2024.
Candidates can propose a topic for a pitch on a theme of the Winter School.
Notification of selected participants by 4 February 2024. Priority will be given to members of the EURADA. If the number of applications exceeds the number of available places, the participants will be selected on the basis of professional attainment and work experience.
