Article written by José Carpintero Molina - Project Officer

November was an inspiring and productive month for EURADA, characterised by active participation in three pivotal general assemblies centered on advancing circular economy solutions. These events highlighted EURADA's unwavering commitment to innovation, collaboration, and fostering sustainable regional development—principles that remain at the heart of its mission.

The month began on a high note in Granada with the Agro2Circular project assembly. Here, partners shared remarkable progress while exploring strategies to extend the project’s sustainable benefits beyond its official timeline. A highlight of the event was a visit to DOMCA's demonstrator facility, where cutting-edge techniques for extracting polyphenols from lemon waste underscored the project’s innovative agro-circular solutions.

Next, in Thessaloniki, the focus shifted to the Circsyst project. Consortium members took stock of their work on developing systemic circular approaches, including a visit to a demonstrator site tackling plastic food waste. The site featured advanced recycling technologies integrated with 3D printing applications, providing a glimpse into pioneering methods for addressing critical sustainability issues.

November wrapped up in Brussels with a significant milestone as EURADA hosted the General Assembly of the CCRI Knowledge Hub, a vital initiative supporting cities and regions in transitioning toward circular economy frameworks.

Throughout these endeavors, EURADA’s expertise has been a driving force. By leveraging our deep experience, we ensure meaningful contributions that advance knowledge-sharing and amplify the impact of project results. Together, these initiatives reflect our commitment to innovation and collaboration. The circular economy remains at the heart of our vision for driving transformative change and creating a sustainable future.
