As we know, EURADA participates in different projects and calls, and incentivises the participation of its members by different means. During the month of January, the European Association of Development Agencies has provided early information about calls to more than 12 of its members, giving them enough time for preparing successful proposals. This information has been updated during the months of January and March, as new information about the calls was gathered by EURADA. Some of these calls and projects are IURC Japan, ECCP, a call for SMEs and DIH. If you are a member and are interested in participating in this or other calls, EURADA can help you out with it, so do not hesitate to reach us.
Partner searches are also another key element to participate in European Projects. During the first quarter of the year, 8 members have successfully found partners to participate in different projects, some of them in joint consortiums, others thanks to our E-reminders seeking collaboration. We consider EURADA as a bridge between potential partners, we can arrange meetings between potential profiles, and we can also arrange events for the promotion of EU projects. The next event we are organising is the 7th Edition of our Brokerage Event, to be held in April, where you can increase your networking through bilateral meetings with participants as well as to listen to our members experience and to representatives of European institutions. If interested, please register here.
Another of the services we provide is to prepare letters of support and commitment, as we did to one of our members during the month of February, so your organisation gets EURADA to back them up in their different interests.
Increasing the visibility of our members is another service EURADA provides. If you are organising an event, we can find suitable speakers for you in several different areas. Furthermore, we can also promote your agency in events organised by the European Institutions. During the month of March, we have been closely collaborating with one of our members to organise an upcoming event in their region, we will provide more information about it in the upcoming days.
The Covid-19 pandemic has been an unfortunate obstacle limiting the use of our offices in Brussels as a meeting point between members. Now that the Belgian government has lightened the restrictions related to office meetings, we think is time for you to come visit us! Our premises can be used to organise meetings, as a co-working space, or even just to visit us and have a coffee.
We believe that personal meetings are important, as they can help build personal and organisational relationships, which in turn improve work and collaboration opportunities. Thus, our secretariat could organise your agendas to meet different European institutions and other relevant stakeholders located in Brussels. These types of meetings are key to have a better insight of how the European institutions work, what are the priorities and the projects planned for the upcoming programming periods, and to create an interesting network for your agency.
We encourage you to reach us and make the most out of our services. In the upcoming months, we will continue to provide the best support we can to our members. If you are a member or you are interested in becoming one, please contact us by email so that we can set up a bilateral meeting and further personalise our services to you and your stakeholders.
