EURADA´s team has the pleasure of being part of the organization of this event. It is an additional conference attached to Foro Transfiere which promotes knowledge and technology transfer among science and industry. The event has the honour of welcoming a series of 15 regional workshops, over 2 years, in selected EU regions interested in hosting the events in 2022-23 as part of the “Clusters meet Regions” cycle. The main focus is the contribution of clusters to regional development and growth. You can register for this hybrid event here. It would be an event with public access streammed through ECCP platform and social networks.
Clusters need to be involved in regional economic governance, in policy design and implementation at regional level to be able to compete with other more advanced and emerging economies in the fast-changing economic and social environment. Regional authorities have to know their clusters and understand how they can shape, improve, and effectively help in the regional development strategies. Cluster organisations and their members should engage in collaboration with other European clusters in the same or related economic activities and thus, complement regional assets and reinforce capacities to lead green transition, accelerate digital transition and build resilience.
The “Clusters Meet Regions” event covers topics such as transition pathways and strategy dependencies, it will also look at cross-border and cross-sectoral cooperation. The agenda includes items such as participant pitches (5'-10' minutes), which will consist of the presentation of concrete cooperation proposals or general profiles of relevant organisations, followed by the site visits where the participant will have the opportunity to visit a local actor who plays a leading role in the ecosystem. Please, note that you are required to register as a speaker if you wish to give a participant pitch.
