Alentejo's Nautical Stations Shine at Nauticampo

Article written by Neus Armenjach - Junior Communications Officer

Alentejo's stunning coastlines and waterways are a treasure for adventurers. Now, the region's nautical tourism shines as it joins Nauticampo, Lisbon's premier event for boating and outdoor activities.

Thanks to the efforts of the Regional Tourism Entity, Sines Tecnopolo, and our member, the Regional Development Agency of Alentejo (ADRAL).

From the 17 to the 21 May, visitors will explore the diverse programmes of Alentejo's seven Nautical Stations. These stations, along with partner companies, offer a range of experiences, from water sports to cultural tours, all revolving around Alentejo's natural beauty. This concerted effort aims to showcase the region's charm and boost its visibility in national and international markets.

José Manuel Santos, President of Turismo do Alentejo e Ribatejo, emphasises the significance of this collaboration in enhancing product development and marketing efforts. The success of such initiatives is evident in Odemira's selection as the host for the 4th Meeting of the Network of Nautical Stations of Portugal in 2025.

For Alexandra Correia, Coordinator of the Nautical Alentejo Project at ADRAL, participation in Nauticampo is a chance to showcase Alentejo's offerings both locally and abroad. This participation marks a strategic step towards organising and promoting the region's tourism offerings effectively.

As Alentejo continues to position itself as a premier destination for nautical tourism, events like Nauticampo serve as invaluable platforms for showcasing its diverse attractions and fostering further growth and recognition.
