With Niek Hendriks, Alkmaar Smart City Programme Manager, this working group’s meeting will explore the concept of why smart cities are necessary and how cultural heritage cities can be smart cities. It will focus, among others, on explaining what and how smart cities are classified, what the main challenges are in transforming a city into a smart city, and what the differences are between smart cities and smart cultural heritage cities. It will take the format of an interactive discussion and will last for 60 minutes, 11h00 – 12h00 CET.
You are invited to take part in this interactive and participatory Working Group meeting to learn more about the topic and share your opinions during the meeting by registering here.
