Presentation about the Middle Black Sea Development Agency – OKA

EURADA is delighted to invite you to the presentation about the Middle Black Sea Development Agency – OKA we are organising online on Tuesday 26th July. As our secretariat has recently been enriched by the presence of Fatih Ege, the Head of the Financial Management Unit of OKA, EURADA proposes a one-hour information session for all those who may be interested in getting an insight into Turkey.

OKA is one of the regional development agencies which have been founded by the Turkish Government throughout the whole country in the NUTS-2 regions to coordinate regional development, introduce strategies to enable regions to use their capacities to the maximum benefit of the region, supply the region with the means to improve their competitiveness and reduce the imbalance existing within and between the regions.

After a brief introduction to Turkish Regional Development Agencies' legal mechanism, a detailed explanation of OKA`s 13 Years of Journey as an RDA will be given. In particular, planning, programming, and implementing phases of their support programs with solid output examples of projects will be presented as well as extra information about their investment and tourism promotion activities.

The event will be held online Tuesday 26th July, from 10.00 to 11.00 CEST. Register here if interested.

For further information about the event or the OKA RDA, please feel free to contact our colleagues Nora Scantamburlo and/or Fatih Ege.
