AGORADA is the main conference organised by EURADA, the European Association of Development Agencies, since 1992. This annual event serves as a unique platform for members to analyse policy trends, exchange information on funding opportunities, and enhance the performance of RDAs through shared tools and best practices.
EURADA members inspire each other and exchange ideas by sharing their best practices and successful policies in their respective regions. AGORADA 2024 will continue EURADA’s current efforts to better understand the landscape of European regional development agencies by presenting the first preliminary results of the survey conducted jointly with the OECD and launched at the end of 2023 and by discussing the specific role and activities of national associations of development agencies in different national contexts.
In addition to the role of national associations, this year's edition will also focus on impact investing and ensuring equal opportunities, both of which are pivotal topics to the work of regional development agencies.
Furthermore, a representative of the European Commission's Joint Research Centre will present the latest updates of the Partnerships for Regional Innovation (PRI) initiative.
During AGORADA 2024 there will also be the presentation of the EURADA Awards, where three outstanding examples of regional development will be honoured.
