Last Tuesday, 17th of May, took place the first business breakfast of Energetika, company of MPIP, the incubator programme of RRA Podravje. The Podravje Network Business Incubator (MPIP) is a type of business incubator aimed at supporting the development of young businesses in the region and promoting entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial culture in the region. It provides young companies with an efficient business environment, including physical infrastructure in various locations, professional support, networking services and professional assistance in finding sources of financing from public and private funds. 

The establishment of a regional incubator represents an improvement of the support environment for entrepreneurship at regional level, in close cooperation with local communities, and accelerates the creation of new businesses and provides concrete assistance in the operation, growth and development of established businesses. The networked business incubator is of strategic importance throughout the region, with several micro locations throughout the Podravska region, acting as a generator of business support for the creation and development of new businesses in the region. 

It is undoubtably the importance of regional agencies’s support for young businesses in their region, incubators and accelerators programmes are a key tool to promote entrepreneurship culture and establishing new and higher value-added businesses in the regions. We are please to share these type of projects as an example and congrats our member, RRA Podravje, for their efforts and good results.
