Recognised centres will implement the Proving an Innovative Concept program in cooperation with the Program Beneficiary. The PoC program is implemented as part of sub-component 3.2 "Increasing research and innovation capacity" of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan 2021-2026.
The PoC program supports innovations at the earliest stage of research to provide pre-commercial capital for the technical and commercial validation of an innovative concept. The focus of the PoC Program is exclusively on TRL 3 (demonstration of technical feasibility) and TRL 4 (production of a laboratory prototype) on the technological readiness scale.
Recognised centres are partners in the implementation of the Program through which projects are applied for, that is, support for competitors during the entire process of application and project implementation.
The role of the Recognised Centres is to help the user of the PoC Program with their professional expertise as a partner in the project when managing the project.
The competence of the Recognised Centres related to the implementation of the PoC Program consists of the following activities:
- Providing professional expertise to the User of the PoC Programme in the management of the innovation project
- Monitoring the progress of the project and preparing periodic professional and financial reports on the achieved results of the project in coordination with the User
- Reporting on project implementation
- Communications with HAMAG-BICRO and reporting regarding the implementation of projects and programmes
- Other activities necessary for the successful operational implementation of the PoC Programme in accordance with the Call
