“Simulate your procedure" is an intuitive and extremely agile resource that offers a first vision of the legal requirements and the necessary documentation to develop a business implantation project, including those that correspond to the different bodies involved, municipal, regional and others. This tool will facilitate the necessary procedures for business investors in the Region.
According to Joaquín Gómez, director of the Development Institute of Murcia, INFO, “although it is a guide, it is very useful for an initial approach for any entrepreneur as it offers a very complete perspective. Depending on the many variants and types of business initiatives, it is valid for any municipality in the Region. Just like a roadmap, the information can always be completed by our specialised services of the Investment Acceleration Unit".
The tool is a support tool that aims to help users identify the procedures that would apply to them in the event of starting a new activity or modifying their activity. This could be the case of an entrepreneur who, regardless of their business project or size, is offered this interactive tool. By selecting the main characteristics of the activity to be carried out, they obtain the permits and authorisations necessary for the start-up of a business activity as a result. In addition, "Simula tu trámite" (Simulate your process | Invest In Murcia) can be used in conjunction with "Find your place", another pioneering tool in Spain, which offers extensive information on business parks, sectorised by municipalities, available spaces, warehouses and land for sale, among a wide range of other services.
These tools are proving very useful in facilitating the installation or reinvestment of companies in the Region of Murcia. Thus, during the first six months of the year, the Instituto de Fomento (Info) has managed 36 business investment projects worth 427 million euros and the possibility of creating some 1,083 new jobs.
From EURADA, we consider this initiative an achievement for our member and a good practice to share with other regions. Through this type of resources implemented by regional development agencies such as INFO Murcia, advise is provided to facilitate and promote investment and the creation of companies throughout the region, actions that favours the economic development of the region.
