Remote working, startups, entrepreneurs, and networking are currently using words that lead us to the implementation of coworking spaces. This trend is justified, among other factors, by the changes in the new ways of working, as well as the economic benefits of eliminating or reducing the cost of using an office. The Regional Development Agency of Croatia, Krapina Zagorje Entrepreneurial Centre, implemented a coworking based on the idea of creating a sphere of networking where independent businesses, entrepreneurs, and startups gather to develop different professional activities, share the work infrastructure and organise the relation between coworkers themselves. They offered different coworking packages to find the conditions that best suit each person. They also include the availability of education, entrepreneurial programmes, mentoring, discounts on events and various benefits in the use of other spaces based on their premises.
Not only that, these ambitious and modern workplaces are fully equipped with computers equipment and CAD/CAM programs shared with other entrepreneurs, including access to 3D printers and scanners and more benefits such as the possibility of organising business events.
We want to share this initiative as an excellent example of how RDAs develop projects and activities by adapting themselves to the changing circumstances and market growth. Supporting trends and changes in citizens' behaviour that are positive for global development.
