Internship opportunities for your local SMEs

Written by EURADA Secretariat

We would like to share with you an advantageous opportunity for SMEs in your region to host an internship programme. The “IES Dos Mares” Secondary School is looking for enterprises within the European Union that might be interested in hosting students (four) under the umbrella of the Erasmus+ KA131-HED program. This programme is at not cost for the hosting SMEs. Selected interns have been granted for the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education 2021-2027 (ECHE), awarded by the European Commission.

The Erasmus+ KA131-HED program falls under the Erasmus + program which allows students to go abroad to an EU country. In this case, the aim is for the “mobility of higher education students and staff supported by internal policy funds”. Among some other actions, this European programme facilitates students' mobility for traineeships in enterprises within the European Union.

The “IES Dos Mares” is a public education institution located in San Pedro del Pinatar (Murcia), a little village on the south-east of Spain, on the shores of the “Mar Menor" Salty Lake and the Mediterranean Sea. The institution provides degree in secondary education, Baccalaureate, and several vocational qualifications related to Information Technologies and Computing, Pharmacy, and Pre-Primary Education.

The IT Department at IES Dos Mares, are looking for several companies that could be interested in collaborating with them as the receiving organisations for their students’ traineeships. They’ve been successfully collaborating with companies in the EU to send their students to for traineeships since 2016.

The past traineeships have resulted in a high degree of satisfaction obtained by the companies that have collaborated with them in the training of their students. We encourage you to share this opportunity with your networks and stakeholders so that they may benefit from this programme.
