Grand Est Region Selected for European Digital Innovation Hub Project

The Grand Est region has been selected by the European Commission to participate in the European Digital Innovation Hub (EDIH) project, which is part of the new DIGITAL EUROPE programme for 2021-2027.

The EDIHs are designed as one-stop shops to accelerate digitalisation for SMEs/SMIs/ETIs in both industry and services.

In the Grand Est region, this European programme complements the regional digital transformation journey to support companies that want to accelerate the integration of advanced technologies, train their employees, identify funding opportunities, and establish contacts with key regional, national, and European actors. To better address these needs, the partners of the EDIH-GE project, all digital specialists, will act in a coordinated manner and offer a range of services to manufacturers.

Ten partners have joined Grand E-Nov+ and the Grand Est region to respond to this call for projects, including companies involved in Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, and High-Performance Computing. These companies will be able to train, prototype, and demonstrate their solutions with the support of digital platforms and co-financiers in Grand Est (European Commission and Grand Est Region).

Cooperation has already begun with the EDIHs in selected border regions in Walloon, Luxembourg, Baden-Württemberg, Rhineland-Palatinate, and Saarland. All these Hubs share the same industrial DNA and the same desire to make our territories lands of innovation, growth, and employment.

Manufacturers can discover academic actors' support systems and services at the upcoming workshops. Don't hesitate to contact them for any questions or additional information you may need. The EDIH-GE project promises to boost digital innovation in Grand Est and contribute to the region's economic growth.
