In that sense, the ECCP is launching a Call for expression of interest to offer the opportunity to universities and other education institutions, regional agencies/authorities and clusters themselves to be the first privileged venue provider for the 2-day in person training sessions.
Managing a cluster requires, more than ever after the COVID-crisis, a large range of skills to ensure efficient support to European SMEs. This is why a “Cluster Booster Academy” is needed. This is a 4-day intensive series of trainings offered by the European Cluster Collaboration Platform and geared toward cluster managers from across Europe who want to boost their skills and performance.
The Academy will yearly involve between 25 to 40 participants and will be organised for 4 days in a hybrid format:
2 days of online training sessions (which will be organised and hosted on a platform managed by the ECCP team)
2 days of in-person training sessions (taking place 2-3 months after the virtual sessions to have time to put into practice the knowledge/skills acquired.
The Cluster Booster Academy offers various interesting opportunities for you. Thanks to the presence of up to 40 Cluster managers from all over Europe as well as certified and experienced coaches, you as the venue provider can benefit from establishing valuable new contacts and participating in interesting discussions. Furthermore, we expect fruitful synergies to arise between yourself, your network, the training session participants and the ECCP as well as visibility through collaborative promotion activities, before, during and after the training sessions.
If you are interested in hosting the very first Cluster Booster Academy at your premises in early 2023, please fill out the application form here. For more information on hosting the event please visit the White book for venue providers by clicking here.
