The Joint Research Centre (JRC) supported by the European Parliament, is launching a call for expression of interest to all the European regions willing to contribute to the REGIONS2030 Pilot Project. Concretely, they are inviting 10 European regions to work with experts and partners to develop, test and improve a framework of indicators for monitoring the achievement of the SDGs at the regional level. They will contribute to defining the method and identifying the relevant indicators at the NUTS2 level, which will be eventually used in the whole of the EU.
Moreover, selected regions will have the opportunity to enhance their relationship with national authorities and other stakeholders which will be useful to boost the Pilot Project output and contribute to future collaborations.
The REGIONS2030 Pilot Project includes training and dissemination activities that the selected regions are expected to actively participate in.
