Among the participants is Bretagne Devéloppement Innovation (BDI), the regional development and innovation agency that drives a collective dynamic among Breton economic actors and plays a coordinating and animating role in the service of the regional economic development and innovation strategy, which is particularly noteworthy.
BDI will be present at CFIA 2023 with three initiatives that demonstrate its commitment to the agri-food sector and its commitment to innovation:
- The Innovation Hub Expertise Pole: a space dedicated to the presentation of innovative solutions for agri-food companies, the result of collaboration between BDI and 11 expert partners in different fields such as digitalisation, sustainability, quality or food safety.
- The FoodTech Village: a space that will host 12 start-ups selected by BDI that offer disruptive products or services for the agri-food sector, such as mobile applications, digital platforms, robots or smart sensors.
- The Usine Agro du Futur Showroom: a space that will recreate an agri-food factory of the future equipped with the latest technologies and innovative solutions to optimise production processes, reduce environmental impact and improve competitiveness.
These three initiatives are an example of BDI's work to support the development of the Breton agri-food sector and help it adapt to current and future challenges. BDI has extensive experience and knowledge of the sector, as well as a network of strategic partners that enable it to offer customised services to Breton companies.
