Canarias Stars

It is a new call whose purpose is to strengthen the fabric of emerging and strongly technological companies of the islands. The program is oriented towards innovative projects, favouring the creation of economic environments and institutions favourable to innovation, which stimulate productivity and improve the competitiveness of the business sector and the creation of stable employment.

This measure is intended, among other aspects, to delve into the diversification of the Canarian economy, promoting the implementation of innovative companies, accelerating the process of crystallization of business projects, promoting meeting points that facilitate the contact of entrepreneurs with private investors or Business Angels and facilitating access to other national and European innovation financing sources, in an agile way.

Canary Islands Stars is one of the nine new initiatives scheduled in the annual budget of the Canary Research, Innovation and Information Society Agency, which are aimed at facing economic reactivation, with a clear commitment to talent and research, transformation, transformation Digital, business innovation and the improvement of connectivity.
