After the pandemic period, the European Union launched the NextGenerationEU temporary recovery instrument. With a budget of €800 billion to support the economic recovery from the coronavirus pandemic, while promoting the transformation to a greener, more digital and more resilient future. The purpose was to reactivate the economy of the regions through projects that will stimulate the continent and involve a substantial dose of digital transformation and environmental commitment by means of exceptional funds.
The Next Generation EU Office is staffed by a specialized ACCIÓ team, with consultants in Barcelona and at the Madrid Office, with the aim of maximizing participation by Catalan companies in calls for European funds. The Office provides the following services:
- Identification of projects and advising companies on the eligibility of their projects;
- Guidance and support of submitting your project to Next Generation calls easier. The Office offers you the Personalized Tracking Guide (GPS): an individualised analysis to identify the best programs for your company;
- Proactive dissemination of new calls for grants with accurate, up-to-date information through personalised alert service and specialised webinars;
- Coordinating consortia. The Office can help you source partners and provide the necessary coordination between stakeholders to come up with answers to the most complex challenges of the programme.
The EU’s resources designed and implemented to support the enterprise ecosystem of Europe may be hampered by certain factors such as lack of information or experience. Thus, the importance of this initiative is to keep the region’s companies updated with the new calls of the fund and to provide guidance and advice to improve your strategy for obtaining.
