The 17th edition of R2B Research to Business 2022 Transition Transformation was held as a site event of the remarkable New European Bahuaus Festival, which this year experienced a new hybrid and widespread format, involved more than 2,862 participants and 70 partners in 96 digital and hybrid events. R2B is promoted by the Emilia-Romagna Region and BolognaFiere, organised by ART-ER.

The event places digital innovation at the centre of transforming Italy, managing the ecological transition and dealing with the energy crisis. Universities and research centres for the RRP - National Recovery and Resilience Plan - share their new projects and their impacts on the economy, local development, and skills and professions of the future.

Together with prominent speakers, the themes discussed include ecological transition and energy emergency, digital innovation as the backbone of the country's transformation at the service of businesses and citizens, the new projects of Italian universities and research centres for the RRP and their impact on the economy and local development, and lastly, the skills and professions of the future were addressed.

With events of such magnitude, our member has demonstrated how its efforts for regional development improvement show nothing but achievements with its participation in events of such a high level.
