European Week of Regions and Cities 2024: Boosting business in region

The European Week of Regions and Cities (#EuRegionsWeek) is the biggest and most prominent European event dedicated to cohesion policy that takes place annually in Brussels.

The European Week of Regions and Cities, is a platform for confrontation and discussion of common challenges for Europe’s regions and cities by bringing together a diverse community of speakers and participants.
The 2024 edition, with the motto Empowering Communities foresees over 100 sessions including hackathons, panels, political workshops and stands revolving around 4 key themes:

  • Smart and sustainable growth for regions;
  • Competitiveness and convergence: two sides of the same coin;
  • Regions strengthening European democracy;
  • Regions got talent.

 
EURADA will be part of the session Boosting Business in Regions on Wednesday 9 October from 14:30 to 15:30 CEST. This workshop will set the scene by building on the recent work developed by OECD on the performance of firms and SMEs in different regions and discussing the European Commission’s 9th Cohesion Report and the daily activities of Regional Development Agencies (RDAs).
