The European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) plays a pivotal role in managing EU trademarks and registered Community designs. Collaborating with IP offices across EU Member States and international partners, EUIPO offers streamlined registration processes for trademarks and designs, providing crucial IP protection to entities operating in a market of over 500 million consumers.
Through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between EUIPO and EURADA, we continue cooperating to further enhance support for regional development agencies in navigating intellectual property (IP) landscapes. Every year, EUIPO registers approximately 180,000 EU trademarks and over 100,000 designs, providing strong protection for businesses and people. Intellectual property covers everything from artworks to inventions and is crucial for innovation and staying competitive.
Due to the importance of safeguarding the intellectual property of SMEs in today's digital era, is essential to protect innovative ideas, products, and services from unauthorised use or copying. Following the success of the past two years, we are thrilled to organise this webinar once more in cooperation with EUIPO. This year’s session, held on 18 April 2024from 10:00-11:30 CEST, will have a special focus on the Protection of EU Designs, a crucial aspect of IP that directly impacts businesses and individuals from across the EU. There will also be insightful discussions covering topics such as the SME Fund 2024 (with a focus on new IP scan enforcement), a comprehensive exploration of the design protection system in the EU and brainstorming sessions to gather valuable insights and address specific needs.

As the webinar is open to a rather small audience, we intend to make it as interactive as possible. This will ensure that the session is tailored to your needs and preferences. Moreover, attendees have the opportunity to choose which topics to explore in depth by filling in the small questionnaire in this registration link.
Please note that the event is free of charge, but as abovementioned, limited spots are available. Therefore, we invite you to register here and to not miss this opportunity. We look forward to seeing you there!
