Boost Your Region’s Climate Resilience: “Apply for the CLIMAAX Open Call Today!”

EURADA is pleased to inform you about a valuable opportunity to advance your region’s climate resilience efforts through the second CLIMAAX Open Call.

CLIMAAX (CLIMAte risk and vulnerability Assessment framework and toolboX) is a 4-year Horizon Europe-funded project aimed at enhancing regional climate and emergency risk management plans to financial and practical support to regions and communities. The consortium consists of experts in climate risk assessment and emergency response, regional authorities responsible for risk management, regional and national Civil Protection Agencies, and small and medium-sized enterprises.

CLIMAAX empowers local and regional authorities and communities to gain a deeper understanding of their climate risks and to take proactive action. The project assists communities in evaluating their experiences and progress in assessing their climate change risks.

By participating in the CLIMAAX project, your region could receive up to € 300,000 to enhance your regional climate response and emergency risk management plans. These plans will be created by utilising the CLIMAAX methodological framework and Regional Climate Risk Assessment (CRA) Toolbox, providing a structured approach to conducting multi-risk assessments. Throughout this process, the implementing authority will receive comprehensive support in conducting these multi-hazard risk assessments.

What’s more, tailored assistance will be offered by our experts through the CLIMAAX helpdesk throughout the course of the project. Methodological guidance and assistance will be offered through expert counselling to implement locally tailored methodologies using local data and approaches.

Finally, the selected entities will gain access to CLIMAAX’s exclusive outreach and engagement events in the form of webinars, events, and other dissemination materials.

 

The Open Call is eligible for individual applications from public bodies and non-profit legal entities based in the EU Member States and its overseas countries and territories or Horizon Europe Associated Countries dedicated to designing and executing comprehensive climate multi-risk assessments.
