Net Zero Plans for Economic Development Agencies - First Meeting

EURADA strongly believes that we must collaborate in meeting the challenge of ecological transition.

Together with Scottish Enterprise, we today launched the first Net Zero Plans for Economic Development Agencies meeting, where a total of twelve Regional Development Agencies shared their experiences of how to minimise the CO2 emissions resulting from their activity.

We are particularly interested in establishing systems for measuring the impact of economic development work on CO2 levels and we analysed how to calculate and reduce the emissions that agencies generate in a deliberate way.

Regional Development Agencies from all across Europe took part, including from  Romania, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Tukey, and of course Scotland. From them we heard about many new and inspirational ideas which we believe mark the beginning of a fruitful collaboration and a vote of confidence in the ecological transition.
